The Indian Circus 🎪

    India has a long tradition of street performers and artists who would move from town to town. However, circus is a fairly new industry. According to Philip Astley, an English dire master, the first Indian circus was born around 1880. THE GREAT INDIAN CIRCUS [The Great Indian Circus was the first modern Indian circus, founded by Prof. Vishnupant Chatre, an accomplished equestrian and singer. It flourished under the patronage of the Raja of Kurduvadi, under whom Chatre worked as a stable master. The first performance of The Great Indian Circus was held in 1880 following which it toured extensively throughout the country as well as in foreign shores such as Ceylon and South East Asia. India Australia hold first ever 2+2 ministerial dialogue


             India And Australia 2+2 dialogue 

India's Minister of defence shri Rajnath singh
and Minister of external affair met their  Australian counterpart for the first India and Australia 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue in New Delhi. 

In recent time , India and Australia have been coming together in different platforms, QUAD bring an important one . However this meeting was especially with its focus Being the Afghanistan crisis. 


Taliban link with global terrorism 


The Minister showed concern about the Taliban link with global terrorism and want to ensure that Afghanistan can never became a safe heaven.   For terrorism in accordance with UN security Council Resolution 2593.

Minister called for the Taliban to guarantee safe passage for foreign nationals and to the Afghans wanting to leave the country and requested Fundamental Human Rights to be observed considering the erosion of women's rights. 

Shared vision for Indo-pacific 

 A shared vision for Indo pacific Regional and multilateral cooperation was showed. The Minister reiterated their commitment to maintain the free , open,  inclusive and rule based Indo pacific region to support the Freedom of navigation over flight, peaceful and unimpended  commerce. 

Minister committed to enhancing collaboration on climate change and energy security to support the global response to climate change. Protect biodiversity and prevent environmental degradation.

Defence partners 

India Australia  reiterated the importance of the defence relationship . The Minister welcomed the continued participation of Australia in Malabar Exercise. 

Australia invited India to participate in future Talisman Sabre exercise to empower operational compatibility between their defence service.
